Pilates Core Training

Pilates Core Training can restore many functions.

The core of your body–the deep trunk muscles—are the key to the active support of the lumbar spine.

Pilates and Core training is a specific way to approach recruitment of these essential stabilizing muscles. The Pilates method seeks to develop controlled movement from a strong core and it does this using a range of apparatuses to guide and train the body.

Skyland therapists are specifically trained in core stabilization techniques and utilize Pilates and elements of Dance and martial arts training to develop appropriate core stability programs specific to the individual.
